Let’s kick Shula some more.
Dennis Dodd has a piece on the Croom-Shula saga. He’s dead on regarding Shula’s hurtful decision to remove Croom’s name from a spring practice award. Ultimately, he did the right thing - or at least restored something which never should’ve been tampered. However, the harm has been done. And once again, the state of Alabama looks like the banana republic of the college football world.
