Roberts 80%
The Clarion-Ledger has a story on Lawrence Roberts’ decision to test the NBA draft waters. He sounds like people are telling him he’ll be a 1st Rounder. I hope his advice is better than the advice Mario Austin got last year. This is the money quote:
“I’m definitely going to leave my options open, but my gut feeling is 80 percent that I’m going to go (in the draft),” Roberts said. “But I don’t know too much right now. I’ve got to wait to later down the line to see how much I’ll be leaning toward leaving.”
However, he leaves the door when asked about being possibly the last pick in the 1st:
“That’s too low,” he said. “Not enough insurance.”
