Coach Croom’s comments on Spring Practice:: “‘I thought we had a good spring this year. We were very fortunate in that we didn’t have any serious injuries. I thought we made a lot of progress in terms of getting our offensive, defensive and kicking schemes going. I thought we made a nice surge toward the end of the spring with the offense. Our defense started early and pretty much dominated the entire spring. We still have a lot of room for improvement. I thought we worked hard, but we have a long ways to go in terms of improving our conditioning and [developing our] depth.’ “
