David Cutcliffe, the politician.

An interview with the head Rebel::
ESPN decided to broadcast Pittsburgh-West Virginia on Thanksgiving night instead of the Egg Bowl, which now moves to Saturday. Your thoughts on the move?
I was sad to see it change. I thought it was great for the state of Mississippi to have that kind of national exposure. I’m sure somebody will pick it up. It’s a good bet it will be on television.
Jackie Sherrill’s last game at Mississippi State was your 31-0 win in Starkville. Next year in Oxford, Sylvester Croom will be on the other sideline for the Bulldogs. Your thoughts on the change?
I’ve known Sylvester for a long time. He’s a good football coach, and he’ll do a good job. As always, we’ll have to work real hard to keep up and stay ahead.
Which is it, David? Keeping up or staying ahead? I’d say Ole Miss is certainly a much healthier football program, however I find it amusing that Coach Cut keeps things politically correct.
