“Mississippi State is banking on the home-field advantage to get back in contention for the Southeastern Conference Tournament.
‘We’ve got six of our last nine (SEC games) at home,’ State coach Ron Polk said.
By the same token, Mississippi State has yet to win two games in a home SEC series this season. [emphasis added] The Bulldogs will play host to another band of Bulldogs, Georgia, in a three-game series beginning today at MSU’s Dudy Noble Field.
‘We still have a chance,’ Polk said.”

I think we’re at the point where State fans need to steel themselves to the thought that MSU will miss the SEC tournament and be left out of the NCAA’s for the second time in three years.
