“We want to win; we want to win now”
That’s what Coach McCorvey said to a group of western Florida alumni yesterday. Here’s a little more:
‘How many games we`re going to win? I don`t know,’ he continued. ‘The thing we want to be able to do is change the attitude. We don`t want to beat ourselves. When we go on the field, we want to look like a sound, fundamentally good, technique-wise football team. If you`re able to do that, if you don`t beat yourself, you increase your chances of winning.’
It sounds like Croom has assembled some very capable assistants. That’s very encouraging.
