Sherrill gets his day before infractions committee. Ugh.
Sometimes I wish Sherrill would just go away. He talks about the NCAA’s crusade to get him in today’s C-L.
“I think there is a group of people that went after Mississippi State,” said Sherrill, who was forced out at Texas A&M in 1988 after the school’s football program received harsh sanctions from the NCAA. “The investigator (Johanningmeier) didn’t want to know the truth when he was given information. I did not talk to the guy because I felt that he was not truthful.”
Sherrill reminds me of those people that complains how drama always follows them around or how other people treat them badly. You have to ask maybe it’s you? Most reputations are deserved and I suspect that Sherrill deserved his. If not for out-and-out cheating, perhaps for turning a blind eye to it.
