But what do I know? I think Roberts is desperate to turn pro, so much so that he’s still holding out hope that one team will take a chance on him earlier than what the experts think. This quote found in the C-L says it all:
“I plan to take all the time I have to decide. I want to do what’s best.”
6′-9″ forwards are a dime a dozen, especially those who spent the majority of their time on the floor at the 5 spot. Lawrence needs another year of polishing his mid and long range game. He also needs to work on his post defensive skills. Another year in college isn’t a bad thing. Ask Tim Duncan. Or Mario Austin.
