The Pressure is on for MSU’s Conner:
Omarr Conner may start for the first time at quarterback this season, and there’s more than a little bit of pressure on him.
Mississippi State will turn to him, and it may very well be a case of as Conner goes, so goes the Bulldogs’ office [sic]. After the completion of spring drills, new coach Sylvester Croom felt comfortable with who he was handing that pressure over to.
“If our quarterbacks can handle this offense, we’ll be OK,” Croom said. “Omarr is one of our best athletes, that goes without saying. During our workouts, he’s never had a bad day. “
