According to the MSU Athletic Department’s Media Relations, State has been very fortunate this year. So far there have been no, I repeat, no serious injuries. The main thing affecting the team is the kind of nagging injuries you’d expect with 18-22 year old athletes banging into each other, particularly the offensive linemen. The lack of work of the first unit O-line is troubling, but I’d rather these guys working limited minutes in camp and be available for Tulane.
