Last night, Greenville alumni hosted head coach Rick Stansbury. Coach Stans called his returning team “a pretty good basketball team.” You think, Rick? You’ve got 3 starters back, one whom is a legitimate POTY candidate, plus all your key reserves. We had better be “pretty good.”
Seriously, it seems Rick thinks this is the year for a serious run at a Final Four. Look at how he’s loaded up the early schedule with high profile tournaments to test State early and to put his team in the minds of the voters as a top 5 team.
