Raffy sat down with the Oakland Tribune for a qustion and answer piece. Here’s an excerpt:

Q. You were a three-time All-American at Mississippi State, teammate of Bobby Thigpen, Jeff Brantley and Will Clark. Were you guys dominant?

A. We were. We didn’t win the College World Series, but we did our share of winning. I knew Clark would be a major league ballplayer, mainly from his attitude, the way he carried himself.
