What will happen: MSU will be ready for revenge after blowing last year’s game against the Green Wave. Tulane’s defense doesn’t appear to appreciably better than last year’s porous group while the offense will need a few games to before it gets clicking. It won’t always be pretty, but after the past few seasons Bulldog fans will simply be happy with a win.
I see this game going similarly to last year’s. However, it will be Tulane that fold in the 4th quarter, not State. Croom is instilling mental toughness in the players and this will be the first payoff.
