Beware, Line Turdz [tm]
Your days are numbered. Coach Croom said on his radio show last night that offensive linemen would be the main priority for the 2005 signing period. He said that the guys he hopes to sign have the talent to start next season — as true freshman. That says a lot about what he thinks of our current starters, only one of which is a senior. When asked about recruiting Juco OL, he said he would like to sign JC linemen, but they would have to be able to enroll in January 2005. That means no Northern Arizona debacles.
He’s concerned about the academic eligibilty of recruits because of upcoming sanctions. Signees that can’t make it into school are no good to us and we’ll need every body we can get before/if sanctions come down.
