You think State has been bad lately? Check this out:

A couple of bad years for Mississippi State is nothing compared to Vandy’s futility. Mississippi State is 17-34 in their last five seasons, while the Commodores have only nine victories in that same span (9-40).

Vandy has lost 14 straight games to Western Division teams and has only two SEC wins since 2000, but the Commodores are still two touchdown favorites against the Bulldogs.

“We’re the last team on earth that’s going to be overconfident,” Johnson said.
