According to ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit Florida AD Jeremy Foley has seen enough. The Ron Zook experiment is over and MSU is responsible for hastening his exit. As a State fan, I find this hilarious and reminiscent of Gene Stallings’ departure from Bama in 1996.
Call it bad timing for Zook. He caught an improving - apparently! - Bulldog team that had an extra week to prepare. State had all their playmakers back and an offensive line that had finally jelled. BTW, State fans, that 1996 Bama win began the best run of Bulldog football since the McKeen Era.
