Another losing season. Another year in last place in the SEC West. Nothing’s really changed. I think we’re a Pro-style QB, a defensive and offensive line, 3 SEC-caliber WR’s, and solid linebacker corp away from being a bowl team. That’s probably another 2 years away.

Timmy Brando is reporting there is a possibility that the SEC will bar South Carolina from playing in the post season. Couple that with an Arkansas loss to LSU and that leaves the SEC with only FIVE bowl eligible teams. I thought all the SEC cared about was money!

Coach Croom made a big change at linebacker before the Florida game. It paid big dividends.
Croom said the switch was made to bring more speed to and generate more production from the linebacking corps, and to eventually slide Byrdsong to defensive end to take advantage of his pass-rushing abilities.
