Sometimes I wonder about the Mainstream Sports Media
CBSsportline.com’s Dennis Dodd takes a look at Croom Bowl I. I don’t understand this quote:
It’s the nation’s No. 1 defense against the No. 1 grudge. If Mississippi State wins, Crooms paves the way for his return in some small way. It might never happen, but don’t doubt for a second that this is the biggest game of Croom’s young head coaching career.
Is Dodd impling Croom still wants the Bama job? The MSM doesn’t get it. You can’t piss on a man, like Bama did to Croom, and then expect him to come to your waiting arms when things don’t work out with the other guy. My hope is Croom makes Bama fans regret his rejection and stays in Starkville for a decade, reminding them of their stupidity.
BTW, I’m more worried about the NFL cherrypicking Croom than “Momma”, especially Green Bay.
