Bulldogblitz.com is reporting that former MSU offensive lineman Brad Weathers may be returning to his team. Brad’s mother says:
“He had never played for coach Croom and he had never seen him, but he went and pulled the film and they looked at him and he talked to coach Croom yesterday or the day before. As far as I know – unless there is something I don’t know – he said they are going to sign him. He has been on scholarship, but it has not been completely athletic. It will be just like signing someone from a junior college that can play two years. That is how he explained it to me.”
I hope the NCAA won’t get in the way of Weathers’ return, but we all know what killjoys they can be.
