November’s Dogs better equiped to deal with Matt Jones than September’s
Coach Croom made a big change at linebacker before the Florida game. It paid big dividends.
Croom said the switch was made to bring more speed to and generate more production from the linebacking corps, and to eventually slide Byrdsong to defensive end to take advantage of his pass-rushing abilities.
With athletes Culberson and Titus Brown playing outside linebacker, it gives the Dogs more speed at the position to deal with the running threat of Arkansas QB Jones.
