Scheduling Success
I’m very impressed with this year’s basketball schedule. It seems talyor made to help the Bulldogs go deeper in the tournament. There were two marquis games - Syracuse and Arizona, a couple neutral site games close to the coast - Va Tech, UNO, a game in Jackson, and some patsies at home.
I really like the concept of moving home games to sites like Southaven, Tupelo, Biloxi and Jackson. These games allow the coaches to simulate a road game while still have a predominately home crowd. It also exposes the program to those who might not make to Starkville. Perhaps this is why State has become so confident on the road.
