On another note, you’ve got to love Croom’s philosophy during the Spring:
“The rest of them, they haven’t quite earned (their numbers),” Croom said. “If they do well this spring, we’ll get ‘em numbers.”Therefore, it should be noted that when Croom praised the work of linebacker Quinton Culberson and running back Jerious Norwood specifically, each sported their numbers.
Nothing is given to the guys; they have to earn it. It’s this kind of meritocracy that fans love about sports.
