Bad Omens
For an athletic program that seems to have a rain cloud following overhead news like this shouldn’t suprise anyone.
Jack Cristil, the man who’s been calling Bulldogs games on the radio since the legendary inventor Marconi tabbed him for the job, missed the trip here because of pneumonia. And Walter Sharpe, who probably would ask for cheese to go with his Marconi, has been suspended for the rest of the season.
The latter is the only one who would have a chance a contributing on the basketball court. The former will be missed more here.
Get well soon, Jack. And get your head out of your rear, Walter.
