Davis rings the bell
In what has come to resemble Navy SEAL/BUDS candidates washing out during training, the Clarion-Ledger reports OL Donovan Davis has quit the team.
“We’d rather it happen now than in the middle of the season,” offensive line coach J.B. Grimes said. “We want to find out what their breaking point is now, so we can work on getting beyond it. We don’t want to find their breaking point with six minutes to go against Maine.”
Amen, J.B. After completing this year’s Spring and Summer workouts, it’s clear the players left will be willing to “go to war” for MSU and Coach Croom. Unfortunately, we have our own version of the Baatan Death March in the meantime.
