Roberts taken by Seattle, dealed to Memphis
Lawrence Roberts goes to the Grizzlies, who traded some future draft picks for the former All-American. That shows more than a passing interest in Roberts. I don’t know much about the Grizzlies’ roster, so I leave it to someone else to breakdown his chances of sticking. But, obviously, Memphis GM Jerry West saw enough in Roberts to give up so future players to give him that chance.
