Changes Made To Offensive Line
Coach Croom made changes to the O-line makeup on Monday morning, leaving only Center Chris McNeil untouched.
When the first offense broke the huddle, true freshmen Michael Gates (Fairburn, Ga.) and Anthony Dunning (Thomasville, Ala.) lined up at left tackle and guard, respectively. Junior Brian Anderson (Butler, Ala.) and senior Johnny Wadley (Hernando) moved from the left side to the right.
But by the midway point of the morning drill, all that had changed, as well. Gates, who suffered an ankle sprain last week and is still limited, was unable to go shortly after earning that first-unit berth, throwing the line into another state of flux. Dunning joined Gates in a red-cross jersey during the afternoon session after re-injuring his shoulder
