MSU Offense Is Struggling
The Commercial Appeal’s Ross Dellenger takes a look at our offense and the struggles it has experienced throughout fall camp.
It was frustrating at the beginning. As fall camp began in Starkville, the Mississippi State offense seemed as if it had taken a step backward from last spring.
The offensive line, riddled with injuries, played poorly during the first couple of weeks of practice. In the first fall scrimmage on Aug. 13, a confused front five displayed a lack of understanding of the West Coast offense.
