M2M Now Offering Live Audio

Via MSU Media Relations

Mississippi State’s premium web site, Maroon to the Max, is now offering a live audio streaming package to Bulldog fans around the globe. The package’s coverage will begin with State’s 2005 football season opener against Murray State and run through the entire 2005-06 MSU Athletic campaign, featuring nearly 150 total broadcasts over the course of the year.
The live audio package will include State’s football, basketball (men’s and women’s) and baseball broadcasts. Also included in the package will be weekly call-in shows for head football coach Sylvester Croom and head men’s basketball coach Rick Stansbury. During football season, State’s entire weekend broadcast will be included each week, including the new extended versions of MSU’s pregame and postgame commentary.

The audio-only package costs just $25 per year. If fans choose to subscribe to Maroon to the Max’s full suite of streaming services (which includes video as well) at the still-low $100 rate, the full audio schedule will be included in that price. Fans already subscribed to M2M will automatically receive access to the audio streams.

Maroon to the Max has been a huge hit during its first nine months of existence. Hundreds of Bulldogs fans around the world have subscribed to the exciting new video streaming area of MStateAthletics.com. In 2004-05, they enjoyed over 60 live and delayed MSU broadcasts, including men’s and women’s basketball and baseball, as well as exclusive coverage of football’s National Signing Day in February, and season previews of all spring sports.

This summer, subscribers have also been enjoying the release of the Top 10 MSU football games of the last 25 years as voted on by thousands of Bulldog fans. The No. 1 game in that series, MSU’s memorable 6-3 upset win over Alabama in 1980, will be released Saturday at Noon. Other recent features have included coverage of SEC Media Days in July, daily practice reports on Bulldog football the past few weeks, and a live broadcast of Coach Croom’s preseason press conference.

One reminder for Bulldog fans is that all M2M content is archived, so even if someone signs up today, they can still enjoy everything that has been previously broadcast and recorded in the M2M system.
