MSU Diamond Dawgs Begin Fall Practice
The Starkville Daily News has a look at the MSU Baseball team as they start their fall practice sessions.
The practice sessions are scheduled to run six weeks and will include frequent scrimmages, all open to the public. The MSU coaching staff anticipates opening fall practice with more than 55 players on the opening day of fall practice, including eight high school and three junior college signees. Monday’s extended practice session at Dudy Noble Field begins at 11:30 a.m.
State is returning all but one of its starters from last season’s team that won the SEC Conference Championship.
