Tuberville On Mississippi State
AuburnTigers.com has some quotes up from a press conference with Tommy Tuberville about this weekends game against Mississippi State.
“We are playing Mississippi State, the first SEC game. We have had the opportunity of going back and looking at all of last year’s film. We have been very impressed on how coach Sylvester Croom is building his program. You can tell he is taking it in small steps. Each game last year, they got better. They were very competitive. We were fortunate that we had a chance to play them very early and caught them before they got into a groove. I know that they weren’t as successful last year as they wanted to be, but they got better each week. This year, they know their offense and defense a lot better. They have an opportunity to be much improved this year and win a lot of games. I am sure that they are looking forward to playing us this week after they watched us on film this past weekend. We will both prepare our teams to try and eliminate mistakes and try to get in this game this week and play better than what we both played and see what happens.”

The Bulldogs are going to have to find a way to force turn overs like Ga. Tech did. With Auburn having a new quarterback will low confidence Miss. State would have a solid chance to win if they get on him early and force bad passes.
