Croom Stands By West Coast Offense
Taking questions from reporters after State’s 23-10 loss to Georgia Saturday night, Croom defended his offense of choice.
“We’re going to run the West Coast Offense,” he said. “That’s not going to change.
“We’re going to run it, we’re going to get people here who can run it, we’re going to get protected, we’re going to get receivers here who can catch the football and we are going to run that offense. This is the offense I believe in, the offense I know. I know it works.
“People are open. We’re not making plays. So they can forget that. The offense is not going to change as long as I’m here. We’re just not executing it right now.
“Complaints about that, anybody that doesn’t like that, that’s their problem because that’s the offense we’re going to run. We just gotta get people in here and get better doing it.”
