Lawrence Roberts Needs More Playing Time
That is the message that Grizzlies president Jerry West seems to be trying to pass around. This article in The Commercial Appeal takes a look at Roberts and how he can help out a team that lacks strong rebounding.
“We know he can go after the ball and rebound for us. He rebounds and defends,” Griz coach Mike Fratello said. “He’s going to have open shot opportunities, and we think he can score. He might not be a primary guy offensively. Then again, on this team in the summer he might be a guy who you can go to for points. It’s something we have to read and find out.”
