Omarr Conner Moving Back To QB?
According to Gregg Ellis’s latest article for the Daily Journal, Coach Croom isn’t too happy with the progress of backup QBs Tray Rutland and Ty Evans. He is apparently considering using Omarr Conner as an emergency quarterback in the event that Henig needs to come out.
Because the battle between Tray Rutland and Ty Evans for the backup quarterback position hasn’t progressed to Croom’s liking, he said there’s a possibility of putting Conner in as the emergency quarterback.
Conner, who started the first eight games under center last year, is now the Bulldogs’ top receiver. But on Wednesday, he said he’ll do whatever it takes to help the team.
Even though Conner could be used as an emergency QB, he will still continue to play receiver.
