Norwood does well in first NFL game
Jerious Norwood had his NFL debut in a pre-season game Friday night against the New England Patriots. The third-round pick from Mississippi State rushed 7 times for 22 yards. He really shined on short passes for big gains, with 2 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. His frist reception came off a pass from quarterback Matt Schaub for a gain of 37 yards. His second was from QB Bryan Randall, which he took 34 yards for a touchdown.
The announcers seemed really impressed with Norwood’s performance as well, and MSU and Coach Croom were mentioned just abot everytime Jerious was on the field. The crowd seemed to like him as well.
Didn’t get a chance to watch the game last night? Someone captured video of Norwood’s touchdown and posted it to YouTube.
