Henig Could Suit Up For LSU
The Daily Journal is reporting that quarterback Michael Henig could be back in uniform for the LSU game this weekend, although he will probably not play.
“Mike’s throwing the ball,” Croom said. “If he is released, then he will go into the game as our third quarterback because I do not know how much work he will get this week.”
It also looks like Omarr is our starting QB for the rest of the season, with Henig and Rutland battling it out for the backup position. Conner is 29-of-48 passing for 356 yards and one interception in the two games he has played in so far. As a receiver this year, Conner caught 8 passes for 70 yards.
