Just before half-time, Bama was on the 3 yard line, threating to score and go to the locker room only down by 7. Wilson drops back and sees nobody open, and decides to run it. What he runs into is a brick wall at the corner of Chaney and Culberson, stopping him from reaching the endzone and allow State to take a 24-10 lead into the locker room.
