Josh Riddell Suspension Lifted
According to Gregg Ellis’ blog, Coach Croom has lifted the suspension on QB Josh Riddell. Riddell is an Oregon native who has spent the last two years at Foothill College in California. He was the #2 quarterback behind Michael Henig until he was arrested for DUI two weeks ago.
“I’m still disappointed in Josh’s actions, but he’s conducted himself well in the interim,” Croom said Friday afternoon. “He did what was asked of him both on and off the field, and I put him back on the team. It’s a situation where he’ll have to work his way back up the depth chart.”
It is unclear if Croom will stick with Henig as the starter for the Tulane game next weekend or not. The team returns to practice Monday.
