Anthony Dixon and Christian Ducre: Double Dose

In MSU’s past two games, he has rushed for 114 yards and what proved to be the game-winning touchdown in a 19-14 win at Auburn.
“He’s more of power,” Ducre said of Dixon. “Like, when I get out there, it’s mostly draws and stuff. We’re basically like the same type of back, but he does more slashing than me, I think.”
Croom, a former running backs coach in the NFL, thinks Ducre has become tactically sound in the past year, which allows him to be a reliable contrast to Dixon.
“Even though Dixon’s a bigger guy, Ducre’s slightly smaller than him weight-wise, there is a difference in the burst in the hole,” Croom said. “I think sometimes defenses are fooled after tackling Dixon. I think sometimes Ducre fools them a little bit.”
