Josh Riddell Injured, Out For The Season
The Clarion-Ledger is reporting that after an MRI today, Josh Riddell learned that he would require season-ending surgery to repair an injury he sustained to his knee (ACL) during the Bulldogs loss at South Carolina Saturday.
This leaves Wes Carroll as the lone QB with any kind of in-game experience on the Bulldog offense. With junior Michael Henig still out from his broken hand injury, true freshman Chris Relf will likely be elevated to the backup QB position. Relf (6-3, 211) is a native of Montgomery, Alabama, where he was quarterback at G.W. Carver High School.
