It has been announced that the Mississippi State vs. West Virginia game this weekend will be televised by ESPN GamePlan in Mississippi. It looks like it will also be available via several local markets in West Virginia, but we aren’t sure which ones.

I don’t think there are any tickets available from the West Virginia ticket office for anyone wanting to attend that game. I have seen tickets on some of the various ticket sites like TicketCity and StubHub, but they seem to be going quick.

Apparently the Tupelo High junior was at the Mississippi State vs. Tennessee game Saturday and verbally committed to the Bulldogs following the game. Gregg Ellis has the scoop in today’s Daily Journal.

Rick Stansbury’s team begins practice tonight in preparation for the 2007-2008 basketball season. There seems to be a lot of potential in the team this year. They are ranked #25 in the country by Dick Vitale in his pre-season Top 40 and Jamont Gordon is considered among the nation’s top guards by Gary Parrish.

The MSU Athletic Department sent out an email reminding everyone that there are plenty of tickets available for this weekends game against Tennessee at Scott Field. Apparently they have both lower and upper deck tickets left. You can call the ticket office at 1-888-GO-DAWGS or 1-662-325-2600.

After an ugly first half of football that saw the Bulldog offense generate less than 60 yards of total offense and injured QB Mike Henig spoil his return by going 2-8 with TWO interceptions, the Bulldogs trailed at the half 10-3.
