Fox Sports on MSN is reporting that Mississippi State Defensive Coordinator Ellis Johnson has accepted a job on Bobby Petrino’s staff at Arkansas. Coach Croom said on Monday that Johnson informed him of his decision to leave. Arkansas has made no official announcement.

Mississippi State fans traveled well to support their team for the 49th Annual Autozone Liberty Bowl in Memphis.
Along with fans from UCF, a new attendance record of 63,816 was set, beating the previous record of 61,000 which was set in 1991 during the Mississippi State vs. Air Force game.

The MSU Ticket Office released an update on Liberty Bowl Ticket sales today. Apparently, the demand is so high that they are suspending general public ticket orders until after the priority deadline tomorrow (Friday) afternoon.

The Clarion-Ledger is reporting this morning that Mississippi State has already processed orders for 13,110 tickets for the Autozone Liberty Bowl. That does not include all of the orders that were taken, just the ones that were actually processed yesterday.
