Ellis Johnson accepts job as South Carolina Defensive Coordinator
For some reason, this site started receiving tons of hits last night and today from people search Google for the term “Ellis Johnson”. I thought that was odd until I just saw this story on Yahoo! Sports.
Only a few weeks after announcing that he would leave Mississippi State to join the staff of Bobby Petrino at Arkansas, Ellis Johnson is apparently accepting a job with Steve Spurrier at South Carolina.
Spurrier had already hired Atlanta Falcons DC Brian VanGorder. VanGorder has announced that he will stay with the Falcons and their new head coach Mike Smith.
