Antwon Dixon Commits To Mississippi State
Numerous news outlets are reporting that Antown Dixon, brother of MState freshman running back Anthony Dixon, has made a verbal commitment to play for the Bulldogs.
Antwon is a 6-foot-1, 190 pound wide receiver for Terry High School and is also a member of this year’s Dandy Dozen, the Clarion Ledger’s collection of the twelve best high school players in the state.
“When I got to Mississippi State, I was greeted by so many fans and players who were excited about me coming up there,” Antwon said. “I loved the atmosphere. The defense played well. All of that was what made me commit.”
Although he plays as a receiver in high school, MState is recruiting him as a saftey.
“Defense is what I really enjoy,” he said.
Dixon’s commitment brings the total number of verbal commitments to 24 for Croom and Co.
