Bryson Davis Profile
Bryson Davis is the Bulldogs starting fullback. Although he was 2nd string last year, he was thrust to the starting position when senior Darnell Jones was injured. His first start was against UAB, a game that saw Jerious Norwood rush for 201 yards.
In the West Coast Offense, he will not only serve blocking duties for Norwood, but he will be playing the role of receiver as well.
“Oh, I like to catch the ball,” said Davis, the 6-foot-2, 266-pound junior from Plainview, Texas, who was also a star basketball player in high school. “I know when they do throw to me, I got to catch it, or I won’t get another one.”
