The 2008 Super Bulldog Weekend was originally scheduled for the first weekend in April, the 3-5. The Diamond Dogs have a series at home against Auburn that weekend. It has been resheduled to April 17-19 to coincide with the first spring football game under Coach Dan Mullen.

Ron Polk Joins UAB as Volunteer Assistant Coach

I had heard some talk of this from those attending the recent baseball camp at State. Steve Irvine of The Birmingham News is reporting that Ron Polk has joined UAB as a volunteer assistant coach.
Brian Shoop, the current UAB Headcoach is a former assistant of Polk’s at Mississippi State in the 80’s.
