The Daily Journal is reporting that MSU Assistant Coach Mark White has been tapped as the new head coach for East Mississippi Community College. Mark White joined Stansbury’s staff in 2002, coming from Central Hardin High School in Kentucky. He was promoted to floor coach in 2004 after 3 years as coordinator of operations.

MSU sophomore guard Jamont Gordon had submitted his name for the NBA draft. It looks like he has decided to widthdraw his name and play his junior year at State, probably going pro before his senior year.
