Mississippi State University President Dr. Robert H. ‘Doc’ Foglesong announced Monday an extension to the contract of head football coach Sylvester Croom.
The extension requires approval by the Board of Trustees, Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning.
The two-year contract extension carries Croom through the 2011 football season. Financial details were not released.

Various sources around the internet are reporting that outgoing Arkansas defensive coordinator Louis Campbell will not be joining Houston Nutt at Ole Miss, but instead will be joining Sylvester Croom’s staff at Mississippi State.

I don’t know if this is official or not, but the Liberty Bowl appears to be sold out. If you visit their website and look at the ticket information, all of the ticket levels have SOLD OUT next to them.
