Final Score: Auburn 3, Mississippi State 2
Wow. That was just a classic, SEC defensive game. Kudos to the defense on both teams. I am also glad to hear that Auburn RB Brad Lester is ok. Turns out his injury was just a sprained neck, which is much less serious than it looked when he was [...]

Jay G. Tate has written up a great scouting report on this weekend’s matchup between Mississippi State and Auburn. He compares the two teams on various positions like quarterback, running back, etc.
He gives Mississippi State the nod in the quarterback and defensive back category, but I think it could be an even call on the [...]

If you are heading to Starkville for the Auburn game this weekend, don’t forget that the 1998 SEC West Championship Team will be honored during half-time. I think they will also be setup in a tent outside the M Club building signing autographs and taking photos before the game.

Former head coach Jackie Sherrill talks about the LaTech game on The Sports Drive with Matt Wyatt and Ben Dean. He also says that he blames whoever scheduled that game (LT) for that loss.
Definitely some interesting comments from Jackie that I think most fans would agree with.
…you just don’t do that because the players…emotionally, mentally…you’re [...]

The results are in. Here is how the SEC ranked in Week 2 of the SEC Power Poll. Georgia moved back into first place, and Vandy jumped way up to sixth (I voted them 5th in my ballot). Other than that, the rankings are pretty much the same. The SEC opener for Mississippi State [...]

Looks like ABC has decided to take out a 6-day option on the Mississippi State - Georgia Tech game next weekend. Depending, I assume, on how each team does this weekend, the game will either get the 2:30 regional slot on ABC or the 11:00am Raycom slot.
The main question is whether or not Raycom SEC [...]
