St. Thomas Aquinas (Floriday) senior quarterback Wes Carroll has officially committed to Mississippi State, according to this article in the Miami Herald.

The Clairon Ledger is reporting that Kemper County (MS) senior Marcus Green has verbally commited to Mississippi State. This is the 4th member of the Clarion Ledger’s “Dandy Dozen” list to commit.

ESPN is reporting that former Louisville forward Brian Johnson has transferred to State. While he is eligible to begin practicing with the squad this season, he will not be eligible to play until the 2007-2008 season. Terry High School running back Anthony Dixon has officially committed to play for the Bulldogs. In addition to football, he also wants to try his hand at SEC baseball.
