Croom Making The Media Rounds
It seems that Sylvester Croom has broken his media silence since he “resigned” as head coach of the Bulldogs. First, he appeared on CBS College Sports over the weekend talking about what went down at Mississippi State, how the Internet brings a lot more pressure to the position, coming into the program on probation and the problems that caused with recruiting. You can watch the video clip and get all the details for yourself.
Today, he appeared on an Atlanta sports radio show and was talking about some of the changes he was planning on making next year, including hiring a new offensive coordinator. He states that a deal had already been worked out for Woody to move into an administrative role (much like he is doing at Clemson) and Croom had already talked to Al Borges about taking over as offensive coordinator.
He also talked more about the “agreement” that he had with former AD Larry Templeton and the MSU President at the time about how they were going to rebuild the program and get it on the right path.
